The Leti Games team developed iWarrior in 2009. This was the first game the team developed as a commercial product.
The games depicts the struggle of a magical bushman commissioned to defend his village against marauding beasts. The protagonist must ward off zebras, hyenas, 'buffalo' or wildebeest (Gnu) among others. This he does by throwing things (In most cases food) at them to prevent them moving past his position to feed on crops, attack the lifestock or stempede the village itself.
The game is played using either accelerometer or by moving your finger across the screen. Move left and right to make the protagonist move in those directions to deal with animals coming from either side of the screen and tap above him or motion foward to throw. Ever so often, bonuses drop down the screen and can be intercepted to create rain or lightning and thunder. Rain freezes the animals in their trak allowing the protagonist to 'pick them off' with ease. Lightning adn thunder completely clears the screen of all animals currently visible, given the player a chance to regroup.
Each animal comes with its own unique bahaviour. Some move faster than others, some zigzag, some camouflage or idle from time to time, and others require a number of 'hits' to stop them.
KIJIJI is an unreleased J2ME version of iWarrior. Though lacking the use of the accelerometer as found in iWarrior along with some special effects (It needs to work on various types of phones), KIJIJI can be expected to come with some improvements to gameplay and new contents ;-)
